Post by: jhutch2115 on August 23, 2008, 07:45:09 PM
I came accross this craigs list add tonight and thought I would pass it on to others. I have no affiliation with the owner and have not seen the bike.  Best Wishes -- JIM :)

The Following add stated     "    I am moving and have to sell this weekend.Needs little work(exhaust and dent on tank).I just bought this 2 weeks ago and started to work on it but a family emergency occured and I am moving out of state and can't take with me.I rode it everyday to work with no problems and it is great on gas.THE PRICE IS FIRM!!!FIRST PERSON WITH $500 CASH IT IS YOURS.I didn't get the title yet as I just had it registered 2 weeks ago,but when I receive it I will mail it you.I will give you the regisration for the bike but not the license plate.  http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/mcy/809374522.html"

You think it's legit? Or stolen? I am quite interested in it as a project bike.

If this guy can show you his receipts for the transactions at DMV and the registration paper work  you get for the temp tags and registration paper work then it is legit. Good eye Buddha!  OFF TOPIC: I have a question about the time stamp for my origional posting. It states that I posted it at nearly 8:00 pm, but at that time I was handing over several hundreds dollars to the  animal hospital this evening, it was more like 9:45 to 10:00 pm when I posted this??? Explanation??  -Best Wishes -- JIm :)

 ... I wish I could do that, there are too many squids that need to be flamed ... but by the time I wake up, its all over. Our British mod has all the squids to himself ...  :cookoo:
I'm so jealous.
