Title: oil filter cover socket size
Post by: debtman7 on August 31, 2008, 06:35:18 PM
Hey guys, quickie... I'm getting ready to move out of state and all of my stuff has already been shipped off, I have zero tools. I need to get in and try to reseal the oil filter cover since it has a slow leak, and I'd rather not buy a full socket set or anything. Can anyone tell me what size socket I need for the oil filter cover? Also I remember it being a real pain, do any of the flexible/angled sockets help? Hard to get a wrench in there and even a long socket has issues since the pipes are in the way.
