i was watching a show and it said that queen Victoria preferred beef and beer for breakfast. in the 19th century(1800-1899) bacon and whiskey were not uncommon for breakfast in western America. cereals did not come into play until early in the 20th century(1900-1999)

5 shots of straight espresso, 1 shot torani syrup, and a touch of non dairy creamer, 2 cookies that I swear must have heroin in them because I'm addicted, a handful of tortilla chips, 1 plucot, 1 bag of apple wedges, and thats about it. I'm trying to not eat any dairy, red meat, legumes, peanuts/peanut butter, sulfites (all red wine) and a whole bunch of other things because of recently discovered food allergies.

I don't really have any food allergies that I know of, but I suspect my nasal allergies (dust/mold) wouldn't be as bad if I adjusted my diet. I think processed foods loaded with additives and foods using refined sugars and bleached enriched flours are the greatest offenders. Bring on the espresso though! :thumb:

Though in the morning it will be booze! I spend all week looking forward to saturday brunch with coffee and bloody marys. Its kind of like a speedball..

Depends what shift im on and my mood!
Lately im in a 'eating is a pain' mood. No im not anorexic nor do i have a problem with weight i have a problem with the hassel of cooking for yourself. I mean god sake you create the same mess to make one portion as you do for two, it takes you longer to make it than it does to eat it, plus you have to eat on your own. Bleh.
So with that in mind, i have breakfast only when im not working if im starving from not eating so thats like 2 days a week perhaps. Lunch...nope not unless someone offers to make me something and then evening meal if again someones cooked something or i can find some left overs in the fridge lol.
If its breakfast tho its only ever frosted shreddies, cant do anything else in the morning other than cereal, not even a drink!

lol well so far it works for me, i spend most of my life hungry however i don't starve and the food bill is cheap! Altho i would be more than happy to have someone to spend time with and then i would very readily cook something.
weekdays 1 can of Monster.
Weekends fire up the cappucino machine, double cappucino with kahlua and amaretto, no sugar needed. That's like a speed ball all jazzed up and buzzed at the same time.
Usually make Chorizo and Eggs, eggs and bacon or biscuits and gravy on the weekends.
this am, breakfast sausage, toast, eggs and eggo's :)
