Title: rejet after installing k&n cone filters on each carb
Post by: rockstar on September 04, 2008, 11:33:34 AM
I've search and all I've seen is if you have to rejet after a drop in replacement k&n, not individual filters. getting rid of that box would make stuff so much easier to work on.

Cone filters flow waaaaaay more than anyhting in the air box.
Rejet is a must. 150 mains with pipe. No pipe ??? no clue. That is for 89-00.
01+ 147.5 mains ... the rest of the formula applies on all years. +1 pilots, +1 needles or mids +1 air screw.
Cool.

Any specs for a 08 gs stock airbox and filters Jardine full system, and live in MN 860 Feet above sea level. Is there any step by steps for rejet on the gs? I have done this many time on a atv but never on the gs so any tips or hints would be great.

The +1 ... stock airbox and pipe = 20/132.5 1 washer under needle and 3 turns on mix screw.
I sell packs for 25 shipped to your door. I include SS float bowl bolts along with the above mentioned jets.
Cool.
