Hahaha!

Well, I got one off of Craigslist a month ago. My buddy picked it up for me on his way to my place. (The seller was way the *$#& out there - Watsonville!) When he picked it up, the seller didn't give my friend all the mounting brackets. That was my bad because I didn't tell him to make sure to get those. I've been after the guy to get the other three brackets but he finally just said that he couldn't find them.

So, I've been debating trying to get my money back but that doesn't look very likely. Plus, the gas and time it'd take for me to get down there and back would suck. So that means making the brackets myself. Or putting it back on CL or eBay.  :dunno_white:  Haven't really decided.

Here are some pics. It's a really dark - but metallic - blue; not sure what year though:

Hey Yev,

I'll look around work and home for a box that'll fit. Let me get it all packed up pretty and safe like. Then I'll go check UPS. That's probably the most affordable, right? Maybe USPS? I can check both.  :thumb:  If you have a preference or suggestion, let me know.

Whichever is cheaper and less of a hassle for you. :)

Hey Yev,

Here's a front view of the fairing:

Plus, I wanted to show a detail of that scratch and a small chip at the bottom - not noticeable when the fairing is mounted but I just to be straight up with you.  :thumb:

Still want? I'll start scrounging around the office for some air bubble pillows and packing popcorn...

Yeah, as long as it's $70 plus a fair shipping price.. (not like ebay shipping which is like $40 LOL)
Also, as long as it fits the 2007 GS.. right?  :dunno_white:

Thanks again,
Yev

Yup, $70 + actual shipping.  :)  I've been trying to scavenge packing stuff from work and I have a friend who just moved so I'll take a look at his boxes to try and find one that'll be appropriate.

It's already in a layer of bubble wrap and then in a styrofoam-type bag that was on a co-worker's new computer monitor. My plan is to find a box that will have enough space to fill all the sides with popcorn/air pillows.

Should be able to give you a shipping price by the weekend.   :thumb:

No worries. It'd be a damn shame if it broke in transit. There's already a shortage of these out there. If it's gonna break, it should do so during a lowside on the track (after which the rider gets up perfectly fine, of course!  :thumb:  ) not in the mail.
