So my little bro just got a GS600F. First thing I'm gonna make him do is change the tires. I've found some decent tires but in an odd profile.
Anyone running 140/80/17? They make those in ZR-radials and I think radials would be much much much better. Like the Avon AV46 Azaro Sport Touring.
If not, then I'd have him go with the Pirelli Demon Sport in 110/70 and 140/70.

GS600F? Hmm.... Never heard of that model. :dunno_white: :)
Ah yes, I mean the GS60...damn it....just can't seem to type 500 :icon_mrgreen:
GS-5-0-0-F
I ran a pair of the AV45/46 Avons on my 02 GS in the 110/80 and 140/80 sizes and they were very good tires. Also had a 140/80 AV36 on my 97 GS, that size fits w/o any mods. It's necessary to bend the brake torque rod for some of the 150/70 sport touring radials.
I first used the Z4/Z2 radial combo on my 97 after using the oem Batlax and BT45 replacement tires and they were a very big improvement. In my opinion however, the very latest in sport touring bias ply tires like the Lasertecs/Demons are just about as good as the st radials but don't give the life of the st radials.
I'm using the 110/80 and 140/70 Roadriders now but if I use another radial rear I'll run a Lasertec front with it. I've used Z2, AV36, AV46, and RoadAttack rear radials on my GSs.

If it comes with those rims i will take 1. bling bling
I have Avons, front and back. They last a long time, considering how cheap they are.
But they don't have very good "grip" for those who like leaning into curves and riding aggressively.
