Title: BEWARE www.kneedraggers.com CAUTION **UPDATE**MY 2007 GS500f WITH MODS**
Post by: Skeets on September 09, 2008, 12:31:07 PM
Beware of kneedraggers. They are scammers. I bought a Puig windscreen and paid for the most expensive (fastest) shipping on 08/24/08. Today is 09/09/08 and still nothing. So I decided to call them. I told them the situation and they tell me that UPS had the wrong address and that it was sent back and THAT I will have to PAY a 10% restocking fee because UPS had the wrong address? Why? I never even received the item!!!! How is it my fault they gave UPS the wrong address?

Learn from my ordeal, avoid kneedraggers.

At 4:43 EST I received my package. So it only took 16 days for 2nd day delivery!!!

I love constructive criticism. Please tell me what you like and what you don't like. Thanks. (Sorry about the bad pics, it just rained and I was so excited my package came after being told it was never going to come, well UPS had the wrong address lol)

That sucks man!  I hate it how some companies have no concept of customer service.

if you paid with a credit card or debit card - cancel the payment thru your card company and tell kneeedraggers to shove it.

if you don't want to go that route you can always threaten them with a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and/or the commerce dept.  I think since the business is presumably over state lines they can handle it.  Kneedraggers might change their tune then.

yeah they cant legally chage you for sending something back if you never received it in the first place.  I would call BBB and file a complaint

Hmmmm, I have ordered a couple  of things from them.  One wasn't in stock, and they notified me  right away, and offered an alternative.  I decided to wait for   the item I wanted.  It came in stock a day before they said it was expected, and I got it the next day.  Not bad considering they were the cheapest.

How did they get the wrong address on the box?

I don't know all they told me was "UPS has the wrong address, so we had to wait for them to ship it back to us"

I had a problem with Kneedraggers too.  Last year I bought some knee sliders from Kneedraggers.  It took nearly a month for them to arrive!

I just did a search on google of "Kneedraggers bad" and about 50 things came up.

How could UPS get the address wrong, UNLESS, they received the wrong address.

If you paid with credit card, it wouldn't have gone through if you typed in the wrong address. Therefore, they must have typed in the wrong address on their shipping lable.

This is what I think happened. I sent them the payment. They processed it. Someone mistyped the address to UPS and the rest is history. It's impossible for me to give them the wrong address as it is the same as my billing address.
