Title: Screw size holding end of fender to bike.
Post by: respite on September 10, 2008, 07:24:12 PM
Seems the screws that hold the very end of the fender to the bike have rattled themselves out. Anyone know what size they are on a 2007?

Its the two at the arrow on the left.

Found the parts lists which of course is on the gstwins homepage. Seems like its part #2 on this image.

Depending on the retailer its listed as a bolt or a screw. The only info i can find is that its 6x16. Im ready to assume its 6mm x 16mm long, though i thought it was longer..

6x16 sounds about right, although I don't have a late-model E.

I believe the pitch is 1.0

6mm screw with 1.0 pitch thread was the correct fit. I bought them in 25mm length so id have room for washers due to where my turn signals are mounted.
