This morning the CX somehow rolled off the kickstand and fell onto my wife's new car. She isn't bothered too much by it but she stuck with an old POS looking monte carlo for the better part of a decade without complaint so I bought her a new car...three days ago...now I feel like a dipshit and need to fix her scratched up new car...and, thus, the GS is getting parted...despite that it's my dream bike in the making...
Has a few trick parts...lockhart oil cooler kit, fox shocks, built forks, stainless lines, everything works, just looks like ass. Yeah, I'm on the gsresource, too, but they're not the only 4-banger GS-lovers out there.
is the throttle tube set up for a push and pull cable? mine is kinda beat up looking and I'd like to replace it. how are the handgrips?
grips are new silicone type thingies and yeah it's a push/pull throttle. Very smooth. The bike looks like shaZam! but it was actually really well maintained apparently.
