Title: Thinking of parting out my 2004 Track Bike
Post by: l3uddha on September 19, 2008, 06:24:29 PM
let me know if there is any interest for the whole thing or any parts.

details of the bike:

2004 GS500, speedo removed but mileage is somewhere well below 15,000 miles.  my guess is between 10 and 12k.

full bolt-on kawasaki ZX-7 USD front end, revalved and resprung by GMD computrack boston.
-includes woodcraft clipons
-dual rotors with two 4-pot nissin calipers.  this thing stops on a friggin dime.
-brembo front master cylinder
-steel braided brake lines
-bolts onto any GS500 because of custom GMD adjustable offset triple clamps

penske rear shock, built by penske specifically for the GS500.

bandit 400 rear rim, 4" wide to fit 150 size tires, includes modofied torque arm going to the rear caliper

extra set of wheels (bandit 400 and ZX7) with pirelli rain tires on them.  the wheels include rotors, sprockets, everything.

tires on the bike now are pirelli diablo supercorsas with two trackdays on them.  120 front and 150 rear.

frame is fine and has a clean title.

any other parts are available, but i'd like to sell major parts as a whole, such as the complete engine, rather than parts within it.

right now i'm looking for offers for parts or the whole thing.  i'd like to sell the bike whole, but if there is enough interest i'll part it out.

Hey man,

Any chance you still have a stock LEFT RIDER'S FOOTPEG laying around? I need the peg and rubber -- the rubber on my bike is torn up after a clod knocked my bike over in a parking lot.
I have been looking for weeks.
Can you help with a cheap left rider's footpeg rubber?
Let me know, and thanks!
I live in Zip 17520 for shipping.
Yours,
Trwhouse
