Post by: iluvmysuzuki on September 20, 2008, 04:02:59 AM
Hey Whadup everyone? My name's Michele, I'm 21, and I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida =]
I seriously just got my GS like 3 dayyys ago, and I would have posted a hello sooner, but I'm so busy with college and work! lol.
I'm studying full time to be a radiologist @ PHCC. (Xrays and such)
I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I might find an owners manual and a repair manual for my bike since it didnt come with it?
or maybe where you allfind ur accessories or parts? im looking for a new windscreen since i find the clear kinda boring =\
Thanxxx <33
And if you live around here, Pinellas, Hillsbourgh, Pasco countyyy...
Let me know so maybe my bf and I can go riding with you =]
Were always looking for new friends.

TTY-all soon!

 Welcome to a fellow Floridean! Congrats on the bike, you'll love it. As far as the windscreen, i could never find one that looked right to me so i painted the inside, it really easy if you know how to use spray paint. Chef

Welcome to the board!

I'm guessing you have an 04+ model since you mentioned the windscreen.  I don't know that the board supporting Clymer manual would work for you in that case, but I'm pretty sure you could find something on Ebay or Amazon.  Pretty pricey though:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/1844255972/ref=dp_olp_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1221935132&sr=1-1

Searching the board for specific parts you are looking for might do you some good on this sight.  It might at least help you find a link to the accessory you're looking for.  For OEM parts, check the parts fiche links:

http://www.gstwin.com/parts_fiche_by_year.htm

...very vibrant introduction though...  can't help but think it somewhat reminds me of the spam I got from camgirls on MySpace.
OR, it could be that I never receive emails from any other 21 year old women.  :icon_rolleyes:
I apologize in advance!  I'm totally teasing.

Congrats on your new GS!  Keep the board handy, you might need it!  :thumb:

Welcome. Smart thinking telling people up front you have a boyfriend so hopefully you can be spared the e-stalking/drooling that is so common on internet forums, and as a guy always reads incredibly pathetic, and creepy. GS is a great bike and this is a great site. Not too many flame wars. Lots of helpful people.
