I am forever leaving my turn signals on when riding my GS500F because the indicator is down by the bars. Hopefully with the LED's more in my line of sight this won't happen as much?

I may need to adjust the brightness??

Not a bad idea at all. My 94 indicator is noticeable, but I always turn the other blinker on when trying to turn one off. Then it goes back and forth a few times until I push it just hard enough, but not so hard as to turn the other signal on. I may research to see if I can get a different type of switch.
Later,
Wayne
Maybe yours is different, but I thought all you needed to do to shut it off was to push straight in on the turn signal lever. this cancels either direction...
I really like this mod and think it would help a lot. I usually can't see my indicator because it's below my line of site.

Here is my source, they come in many colors and are pre-wired with a resistor already soldered to the base of the unit, which is then secured with 3 layers of heat shrink so its pretty much a no brainer install :thumb:

That green LED is probably 10X brighter than the indicator lights down by the bars. You can always tone them down by adding an inline resistor to the red wire (Radio Shack) these LED's are designed to illuminate and that they do well!
cool i might try some thanks
