Title: Aftermarket Emergency Cutoff Switch (Ideas?)
Post by: surf.seppo on September 20, 2008, 03:43:19 PM
Hey guys! So I'm no longer among the ranks of GSers, but I swear that if I don't get my BMW up and running soon, I'm going to be posting a bike wanted ad here.

Anyway, I realized that my darn bike doesn't have an emergency cut off switch on the handlebar like modern bikes. Has anyone out there had any luck with any good aftermarket ECOS?

I've got a complete cluster coming off an 87 Honda Hurricane if you want to try and hybridize the cutoff switch.   the starter button is gone from it, so you'll need one of them.

Try one of the push button kill switches off a modern MX bike, that would be small and discreet.
