Title: Under-Glow On The Cheap
Post by: Suzuki Stevo on September 23, 2008, 07:27:23 AM
When I did my Turn Signal LED's (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=44314.0) I also used 4 of the Green 4.7" Flexible LED Strips (http://www.oznium.com/flexible-led-strips) and made myself some cheap under-glow, the photo turned out lame but you get the idea. Totally Pimp  O0

how did you run the wiring?

The lower 2 sets go up between the rear engine mounts then up along side of the airbox twards the battery, the top 2 run along one of the top frame rails, all are ny-tyied every few inches, I have a switch inline that runs up to the front, But most important thing is...I have a 500mA inline fuse close to the battery where I get the 12v. Keep the wires away from direct contact with the engine or pipe and  ny-tyie allot so they don't chafe on the frame, but most important use an inline fuse close to the source of your 12v and you will be ok. My 4.7in strips times 4 setup uses 320mA total.
