As most of the chssis and body work of my rebuilt is nearly complete, now i would like to pick your brian about the engine.
Here is the engine condition
Around 70000kms without any mechanical failure before beside headcover oil leak, however I would like to do a preventive over haul.
Beside pod filter, exhaust and rejet, not sure about the power gain, what else can I do to imporve the performace, yet mamtain the rideabiliy of as a daily bike.
outside of pods jets and pipe...
i went 2 down up front and it's a little beast now...
keeps up with alot of 600s till about 45/50
but it looses top speed...
for me as a daily driver it's fine.
i dont really notice the differance in fuel
and it still pulls well past the speed limits...
im sure it would do 100 mph with the 14 in front
i've never seen it go past 90 ... but im sure it would no probelm
I'd freshen up the head and cylinders ? That's all that you can do, bottom ends are hard and $$$ to get rebuilt.

Yup i have I would do a light mill on the head to get a smooth service
