Title: BT-45 rear, Sport Demon front... thoughts?
Post by: GeeP on September 26, 2008, 03:59:04 PM
Normally I wouldn't even ask this question, and just try it.  Unfortunately, swmototires is out of BT45's, my front is bald, and I'm going to the Dragon next week.  I'd like a combination that feels good.

So, has anybody tried a Sport Demon with a BT-45 rear?  Any interesting feedback?

Piss poor planning results in piss poor performance.

I have nothing to help you decide on that combo, but I do have a front and rear demon in the FS section right now for less than you'll pay for the front alone.... worth considering?

DennisKirk.com has them. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/tpl/tire/product.jsp?skuId=543053&store=Main&catId=404&productId=p543053&leafCatId=40402&mmyId= Maybe even better price than SW Moto.  There's also something about FREE installation service if you buy the tire from them.  Worth a look IMHO.

Good luck.

I don't need tires, but even I thought it was worth a look!!!
Close inspection shows that it's only if you order a tire AND a wheel.
