i have a 92 gs500 and i am needing a motor.

Where are you located? Are you looking for a specific year? Are you willing to rebuild? I have a knocking engine in New York, NY up for sale on the site. Price is very negotiable if you're willing to pick it up.

In charlotte NC I have a bike you can ride and get the motor out of and take it with you.
$350 ... for 100 more bring your bike over we can take out and fit it in. No points or cover, no alternator and no starter.

i am in mooresville nc.  i have a 92 and the motor is knocking and i started to rebuild but i can't split the case to see the damage of the crank or rod.  my buddy decided to break the alt.  so i need a running motor.

When you tried splitting the case did you remove the oil pick up screen and remove the bolts under it?

yes i took all the bolts and removed the clutch
