Title: End of the Line?
Post by: SeqArtMark on September 26, 2008, 09:20:20 PM
Hey, does anyone have any word on a 2009 GS500?  I already have one so I don't really care if they continue to make it.  I figure that with emissions getting tighter and having had a good run it may be time to let it go.  I just like to see the new color schemes.  Also, will the SV650 be replaced with the "Gladius" (would it be called the GS650 here)?

the gs dies and casts have been around for 20 years. each gs made likely costs:

material to pour
labor to assemble

all the engineering is done, all the bug fixes are done. it's a money maker, and gas prices continue to rise (yay!) so i'd think the gs has another 3-5 years left.

we'll see.

i'd welcome a sv650, gs650, or whatever the next step is just fine :D
