:icon_mrgreen: It was awesome.
First we went for a ride up to the Mountain.
One friend was on an 09 CBR 600RR
The other was on an 07 GSXR 600
We had our fun, I was pinned the whole time up the mountain and on the highway just trying to keep up haha. Didn't do bad on the twisties though.
Anyways once we got back down my friend let me ride his 600 its like new with 1000Miles.
I gotta have one now. The power was smooth, yet brutal if you needed it to be. The bike is very compact, Not hard to hold up.
The seating position is obviously a bit hunched over, but I'm sure you get used to it.
Either way, I'm hoooked and Its time to upgrade. :icon_mrgreen:
The GS has served me well and I bought it to learn a thing or two, and decide if i really want a bike and yes I do!
Riding one is great for about the first 50-100 miles. After that, it feels like you just had a lumbar fusion and discectomy about three days previously. ;)
Hah well most trips are 50-100 miles eh?
slow and easy big fella, we want you posting pictures years from now :)
gsx-r's are fantastic machines indeed.
Wholy shaZam!!
I just got a quote, for what it would take for Comprehensive coverage , which would be needed with a lien holder.
Seven to Eight Thousand a Year! That shot down my hopes reallll quick.
Liability was only 1300.
Guess I'll just ride the gs for a while , save up about 5-6 grand and buy a used bike down the road.
ah, yes, insurance can be a pain if you're young. i'm still young myself. (will be 27 on friday)
