It's not the rider it's the bike.. And yes, I'm in a foul mood about this...
89'.. It hasn't been ridden to terribly hard but it's 20 years old and perhaps ready for the bin. I don't know.... I'm considering selling the bike and buying a 2008 because I'm so sick of spending time in my garage and not out riding..
So, the latest problem is downshifting seems to have become some sort of game of touch and feel and rock and play.. WTF??
Anyone have some majic un-f*ck for this. After a summer of injuries, a month of waiting for my tires to arrive on the slow boat from China (a razor blade buried itself in my back tire and I thought I'd just order tires online, faster than ordering then in the store I though, HAHAHAHAHA -WRONG-!!!)
Now my shifter/transmission/clutch has turned into the majic murder machine "wonder what's going to happen and if i'll get into gear in the next 5 minutes before the ass behind me runs me down" is enough to make me melt the bike into scrap..
:2guns:
help?

check your oil level ?
overfilled = hard to shift into/out of first, and others
check your clutch adjustment ?
clutch adjustment can make everything suck.
or, it can make everything a breeze. :)
