the new guy here..just got a 04 gs500f in june and was thinkin about strippin it and making it naked like the "e" model..looking at it it looks like i can just pull off the plastic body and hopefully a gs500e headlight will mount up and maybe just strap on some gs500e mirrors. and if youre wondering why i didnt just get the e or a sv650 its because i got a really good deal on the bike so..has anybody ever done this or know somebody that has? any advice would be appreciated. and also thinking about some exhaust so maybe if anybody has any preferences..thanks again
Several have defintely done it. Some have even used the F headlight and a bracket from Dennis Kirk... Don't get standard E model mirrors. Get something WIDER!!! Congrats and good luck! :thumb:
