What a great starter machine.    Would be a lot of fun to ride!  I guess I am just hopelessly retro.

Im thinking, solo seat cover, clip ons, bar end mirrors,   hmmmmm....maybe the engine out of the 500r?  Seriously that looks like a really fun bike.   Bet it gets in the 70's for mpg no prob.

Not bad looking honestly.  I'd ride it.   what I'd LOVE to see suzuki bring back, if they could make it past emissions, is the GT750 triple.  my buddy has one of those, and it just looks cool.

The WaterBuffalo?  If that's the same bike, I have a friend who recently picked one up.  I've yet to see it and I have no clue which year it is yet.  The only thing he's said for sure is that it's very loud--which isn't saying too much.  He seems to like it though.

It looks like it could be a lot of fun... I like the retro styling.

I've got a baby water buffalo (GT550) sitting in the garage that I haven't gotten around to yet.  Pretty sure it just needs a battery and the timing set.

The GT's have cool-factor for being smokers, but the bike as a whole is poor.  I just love the sound of three really angry chainsaws.

I like this new bike.  Small displacement with FI.  Standard. It looks light as hell.  It's great.  Some sticky tires, clip-ons or some clubmans, and old-school megaphone exhaust and I'd probably get off a little.

$3500.00 MSRP!  Oh Yeah!   Leaves a little room for mod money.   Only bad thing for me is it probably won't hit hwy speeds to well.

So, the Girl Zoomer has FI now?

When does it get the auto-brew coffee pot?

I like how the Euro Ninja 250s got FI, but they didn't want to push the MSRP up $500 here, so left it carbureted for the States.

Like $4500 would be too much for a Ninja 250...

...I had to check the website.  I guess they have raised the price a bit more.  Last year, the all new model had a $3499 MSRP.  Most dealerships had them marked up $400 or so though.  It was in high enough demand, nobody was questioning it.  :dunno_white:

Wow, that takes me back to about age 12...    ;)

If someone was going to force a 250 on me, I'd gladly take the baby Ninja, I finally saw one today standing still in a lot where I could walk around it, and it looked eminently flickable and quick enough for a little 250.

OR I'd take a supermoto

or the Kawi, which I like better, but that horn placement sux.

BUT, if I really wanted to go for that retro look, I'd probably check this out.

I think its a good looking bike.  My buddy had a mint 82 gs650g.  It was gorgeous.  Then he layed it down doign a retarded move. (operatign the throttle with is left hand, check his right pocket for money, while in mid turn.)   :dunno_white: now its a piece.

Wow, the TU250 looks just like a GS550TX that I rode for a week and loved. Same color, same gas tank. FI as well? So no cold-blooded starts and stops. I wonder what this thing will lay down at the rear wheel with a pipe & filter? I'll buy one in 3 years when you can snag 'em used for $1500 ;)
