Title: Will a Katana 750 rear wheel fit on a GS500?
Post by: Jackstand Johnny on October 06, 2008, 09:40:18 AM
Got a guy parting out a 93 Katana 750 and I was wondering if the rear wheel off it would fit onto a GS like the 600's do? Same goes for the front end. Thanks!

89-97 Kat 600/750 wheels are the same as the GS, except for color.

Dgyver's right - like he's always been ...

Shameless plug follows -

You want 98 and later kat 6 or 750 rear wheel, or a Bandit rear wheel ... I had put the kat wheel for sale a while back ... search.
Or here ...

B4 wheel with tire also I have its metallic like dull gold in color ... and has 90% tire life on the 150 on it, and comes with all things needed to drop in a GS. $150 for either and shipping.
Rotor not included with kat wheel ... and use your GS one with the B4

93 75- FE will fit a GS, but the top triples off a 600 work better especially if you wanna fit the guages. A 750 triple I am owrking on fitting guages to it, but it seems like it will look bad compared to how nice a 600 triple will look ...
Here is a 600 FE

And the GS gods have spoken. The wheels I have now are fine, nothing wrong with them. I thought I'd pick up the rear wheel off this fellas Kat if it was to be wider. As for the front end, If it'll work with a little work...I can make it work. I don't plan on keeping my gauges forever so it wouldnt have to look great, just have to function. Thank you a mighty elder gods for your wisdom!
