Title: Were 2004 BLACK GS500F's made in the US? Anyone here have one??
Post by: B kizzle on October 07, 2008, 12:02:13 PM
My bike is a 2007 silver and black GS500F that I have been thinking of converting completely to black. I was doing a google search to see what year's came with a black upper fairing and tank and I came across these pictures of a 2004 that came completely in black....SINCE WHEN?! I thought the 2004's were only made in yellow/black or blue/white. The only thing I can think of is maybe this was made outside the states? Just curious. Well if anyone has one and wants to trade to update their look...let me know. ;)

The blue and white had a white tail in 04 and the yellow and black had a yellow tail ... and all of them had a black front fender. Are these Idiots stupid or blind or both.
Cool.

Buddha, open your eyes a little wider man. Look at the pictures as hard as you possibly can. Do you notice that ALL of the body panels (tail, lower and upper fairings and tank) are BLACK? All other years used a "2 tone" theme. For example, my bike has a black tail, black lower fairings and it uses a silver metalic tank and upper front cowl. Make sense?

I see nothing wrong with the black fender  :dunno_white:. Black frame, black wheels, black fender. Looks alright to me.
