(Phoenix, AZ Here) My good friend scott was hit yesterday while riding home after a quick stop at the local hang out. (my friend kyles) He was heading north on 19th ave approaching Colter when according to police (still waiting to see report) a minivan pulled out of the bank and cut across two lanes into his path. He tboned full speed probly at about 45-55 mph. He was taken to st. josephs hospital on 3rd ave and thomas where he was on life support untill 10:23pm when god decided he'd been through enough. He was wearing full gear, jacket, gloves, helmet and still..... I saw his helmet while in the ER last night, it was cracked from the bottom of the chin to the top of the nose area. (I'll proby have a pic of it today) Witness's said that the guy who pulled in front of him was arrested at the scene but i havnt been able to confirm that. I cant beleave he's gone, all around great guy just turned 25 last month.... just cant beleave it. Guys dont leave the house mad...tell your wife you love her...get that kiss good bye...hug your kids before you ride... You just never know... When scott was pulling out yeasterday(minutes before the accident) he saw his dad walking so he pulled over hop'd off ran over and gave him a hug, told him he loved him and would see him later.... those were the last words he ever said to his father. I couldnt help but think, atleast he got that last good bye, that last moment to hold on to. We're proby gonna have a few carwashes and plan some rides to help raise money for the funeral. I'll post updates as soon as we figure out locations and ride dates.
wow man, I'm so sorry to hear that.
I'm very sorry to hear that
Condolence to the family
so sorry for you and his family.
please do keep us posted with the driver's charges, and how the family is doing. can't imagine the father's grief right now. :(
My condolances. Myself being no stranger to 4 wheeled stupidity.
In Sept of 1997 I had a guy in a new Lincoln Continental cut me off and I jacknifed his new car. 400+ lbs of bike and 260 of rider and he didn't see me. I wound up on his hood. The next 3 years were touch and go with my back and one day God healed me.
In August of this year, I picked up a new GS500. When the dealer gave me that "too good to refuse" offer, my wife cried.
Both myself and my wife feel for you and those who hurt for losing someone in the prime of their life.
I'm very sorry for your loss.
Sad to hear that.
Cool.
Buddha.
So so sorry to hear that.
Give our regaurds to the family.
Terrible news. Seems to be a lot of that happening lately. So sorry to hear that for all involved. God bless!
My Wishes Are With Your And His Family,

Its really sad when someone on a bike dies who is responsible and wheres protection and doesn't drive recklessly. I'm sorry your friend had to go like that, i hope the family and friends get through this alright and its nice to hear your trying to help out by having fundraisers. Best wishes and regards to all his loved ones.
Sorry to hear.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and the family.
Thanks everyone its been real tuff the last two days, even more so now that the parts we ordered on ebay for his bike last week started showing up.(lots of R6 parts that need to go) I just look at the pile of boxes and cry, I just cant beleave it. We ride like every saturday....well did, he always took pic's of our rides and always forgot to email them. His GF said as soon as she finds them she's gonna send them. I sure hope she finds them, i never took any pic's and feel like a total jackass now that i dont have any. ALSO Can anyone help me out with some photoshop, we want to make a bunch of windsceen/window decals but cant find a pattern we like. we know what we want but im not sure how to do it. We want it to look like a vortex sprocket (one of the crazy ones) and we're gonna put his info in the center. If anyone can help let me know.
thanks for all the support

I can do some editing, once you have some pictures we'll see. Not much else I can do for you all the way from Alabama. So sorry for your loss of a friend.
I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.
Sorry for the loss of your buddy. My sincere condolences. We never know when our ticket will be called. Don't take your friends/family for granted. Learned that lesson 2 decades ago.
God bless.
I'm so sorry for you and his family and friends. it's always a shame when someone is doing the right thing and gets nailed by some idiot who isn't. It could be anyone we love at any time, like ATLRIDER said, we should try to remember to tell people that we love them, and not take anyone for granted. I've lost a lot of loved ones and it never gets any easier. :.(
You will find some peace in doing what you can for his family, and god bless for you for wanting to help.
Oh man that is awful. I can't even imagine what you all are going through. I'm truly sorry for your (and everyone involved) loss.
.
I feel for your loss. I lost an old friend to a similar accident last December. My thoughts are with you and with his family.

Condonlences to friends and family.

very sorry for the loss. At any time it could be any of us. may god (or what) watch us all.
