I'm new to the forum - just bought a '99 GS500E about 3 weeks ago (for commuting - love the bike!). I've been going over it to check it out thoroughly and correct any problems found (very few). As I've been doing this I've referred to the info on this forum and it is just awesome. This is the best forum I have been a part of. Every time I've had a question I've been able to find the answer here. I'm glad to be a part of it and thanks to all of you who have contributed.
I just did the valves and plan to do some carburetor correction in the next week or two (running a little lean). Looking foward to along histiry with this bike and with the forum!
Welcome.

The new deal is ... anyone who says "awesome forum" gets beaten ...
These 2 other newb's didn't know so they get 50 beatings, and the usual 100 for you.
Cool.
