Title: Video of my firend's project bike, "Z-King."
Post by: afi1 on October 12, 2008, 07:54:44 AM
Here is a short video I made last night.  It's of my friend Gavin(Stinky Cheeze Man/Greencheezeeata)'s "Z-King."  The bike started out as a 2003 Kawasaki Z-1000.  He blew the orignal ZX-9R based engine last fall doing wheelies, so we fabbed up custom mounts and bolted in a 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10R engine.  We also mounted up 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R(636) forks, calipers, radiator, and upper tripple clamp as well as 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10R wheels, rotors and gauge.  Included in the mods list is a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R1000 front brake mastercylender, Goodridge steel braided brake lines, Vortex clip-ons, custom-ized Sidewinder exhaust, Dynojet PCIII USB, Renthal sprockets, EK racing chain, Clear Alternatives intigrated tail light, 6500K HID Headlight, Smoothed undertail and custom paint with a white base, 3 coats of red and blue flake topped off with 6 coats of clear.  The bike weighs 428lbs. with a full tank of gas.  The stock Z-1000 weighed nearly 480lbs.  A one-off swingarm is in the works.  Let me know what y'all think.

They're ICON riding pants.  And You'd have to ask Gavin, though he isn't really pushing it too hard.

You mean denim?  Yes, they are, with aramid re-enforced knees, hips, and seat.  They also have vents above the knees and in the crotch.  Jason Britton stunts wearing the same/ or versions of the same pants.

^ Thanks man.  I don't know what some of these guy's problem is, but it wasn't supposed to be anything special, just a video of my friends bike.  I thought y'all would appriciate something hand built and different.  Oh well...
