Title: is it safe to ride?

i stripped 2 valve cover bolts closest to the rear would it be safe to ride to the shop 7.7 miles away

valve cover? no problem... just duct tape it down if you're worried about oil getting everywhere

Which two bolts? Both top or one top and the center bolt?

Sucky luck.

But yeah... duct-tape will melt like an SOB on a hot motor and come unstuck with any slight oil... Take a hanger and chop the neck off, then loop one end around the exhaust and run it over the cover, then loop it to the intake... to kinda 'strap' the cover down...

Keep it under 5k rpm for vibration sake.
