umm...buy another bike?  Your GS comes with about as much HP as you can give it.  I suggest a TL1000-R...that should have enough HOP for ya.   :bs:

Drop a tooth in the front, stage three jet kit, timing advancer, suspension mods.  When you can break 100 MPH in a 45 MPH turn then think about a bigger bike.

High lift cams, high compression pistons, head porting, flat slide bigger carbs, bore it out, Nikasil liners. 60+ hp has been done lots of times. Or buy almost any other bike...

There's a few guys on the gs email list that are running big bore engines (I think around 571cc).  This is either a bored stock cylinder or a sleeved bored cylinder and custom pistons.  I added up the price of parts a while back and it's about a $500 dollar bill for all the stuff if you can buy one set of pistons from somebody.

There was also that article a while back where the guy mounted a gsxr head on the GS.  That sounded like a fun project.

Yep, I've got a 570 engine that was running...

No one makes performance parts for the GS. It is all custom stuff. Megacycle or Webcam will make your cams into high lift ones to your specs, JP Piston or Ross Pistons will make you whatever size piston you want (min. 4). Lots of places will re-sleeve your cylinders to whatever bore you want, with aluminum/Nikasil or cast iron sleeves. Sudco will make up a set of CR carbs for the GS, or maybe some FCRs if you can talk them into it.

I've managed to find bits and pieces that other people have had made. It is somewhat cheaper. I may be selling my stuff off, because I might race a SV next season.

Easiest thing to do is buy a bigger bike, especially for your location (i'm assuming the biking fraternity is not that big in Kiev - Apologies if i'm wrong). I've come down to a GS from a Yamaha R1 as some pillock in a lorry knocked me off after falling asleep and that is quick so it should satisfy your needs.

Bring on the new R1 my cheque book is waiting.

Cheers
