So some of you might remember I wrecked my GS a while back. So here's the before:

And a couple after, be nice too. It's her first time going naked, she's still a bit shy:

What I had to to to make her work again. Replace all right side controls along with bars, tank, fairings, wheels, tires, new headlights w/ brackets, new to me stock signals, and gauges (went with acewell because cheaper than stock). Overall not as bad as I thought it would be.
Special thanks goes out to the forum members who were kind enough to part with the items I needed to bring her back to life and those who gave me information so I would know what I was doing!
Chris
Looking good :thumb:
Thanks man, I'm enjoying the new look. I hope I like the long trips w/o a fairing. I've never rode a naked bike before.
you'll get used to it!
I rode 11 hrs in one day, my neck was a bit sore from bobbing in the wind, but it was still fun.
good luck, keep us posted on your transition into nakedness

nice work m8, if the wind bothers you, you can always get ahold of a windscreen, even better, one which can be removed easily :thumb:

funny...I'm too lazy to click the links but adding img tags just didn't bother me...
I'm thinking I'll like the nakedness of it after a while. It's just such a change from what I was used to.
Makenzie, thanks for adding the pics for me. I triied to do that but gave up and figured I'd go the safe route with it.
11hrs in one day? Dang, thats a heck of a trip. I think most I've done so far was about 6ish. That was far enough too. Lots of highway riding on really long straight boring roads... Well, straight by WV standards.
good for you, making the best out of a bad situation.
