I didn't like the old GS headlight a whole lot, and the yellow tint and opaqueness of it. So I bought a used sv headlight assembly off svrider. There is one problem that I will encounter when installing that pablo's site doesn't adress. that is what to do without a horizontal adjustment bracket. Mine is busted off and I don't know if there is anything I can do now to make it fit in and point the right way. Here's a pic of the whole assembly:

and here's the back of teh headlamp itself; probably the only part I'm going to use for my GS. (you can see where the bracket broke off)

Do you think i'm going to have to make a little metal bracket and glue it on?
What should I do?, Just shove it in there? :dunno_white:
I looked up my model of the GS and found the headlight assembly breakdown.

I think I don't need any kind of bracket at all on the lamp. :icon_mrgreen: Luck for me.
Ironically, the next year the headlight assembly looks liek this, and the lamp has a specia lbracket built on to it.

Honestly I like the one I have better because it looks more substantial, because obviously these things break off.
This might be a good reference to anyone having the same problem. but moreover Im just answering my ownquestion.lol
Have any pics of it installed?
