Title: Suzuki's new web site
Post by: jag69 on September 12, 2003, 10:21:46 PM
Anyone check out Suzuki's new web site?  It is not fully completed yet.  Under motorcycles they don't show the SV650's.  They do have the GS500F on their list as well as the VSTROM 650.  Check it out.

They must be testing it because they just put back the old layout.

Got to be rebuilding the website...I can't believe they would delete the SV 1000 and the SV 650 from the line, right after they redesigned them.

I really like that V-Strom 650...great engine, huge fuel tank, EFI, 2-way adjustable windscreen, radial tyres, comfortable ergos...all this for $1600 more than the GS @ list price...

But then, there's that new Yammie FZ6 (Fazer), the Honda midsize nekked whatever, and I think Kawis joining the party too..soo many bikes (drool), so little time (and $$$)..hmmmm

I agree DMP.  I will be getting a new bike next year.  I was sure I was going to get the SV650.  Now I don't know anymore.  The Yamaha FZ6, Kawasaki Z750, Suzuki V-Strom 650 are looking really sweet.  I will have to just wait and see.

I really don't like the new layout.  Flash is something that makes many sites seem slower than they need to be.  I don't care about animated windows and that sh**.  I like the old layout, fast, straight forward and easy to navigate.

Kawi hasn't updated their site yet.  There seems to be some confusion about the Z750 making it to the US.  On Motorcycle daily, it says Europe only but Sport Rider site lists it as a new model.
