one of the guys from -unnamed motorcycle maker- came by the shop yesterday and looked around. they were impressed with how ugly/dirty/big/stinky the shop was. they want us to make some jigs for their assembly/machining stuff.
hopefully i can post some pictures of my ugly mug with some chips flying. if i can rig up a safety box for the d40 they may turn out pretty cool too.
watch this space :D
(thinking of changing some career crap and getting into the world of two wheels a little deeper)
are you talking about a major mfr? or like one of those OCC type companies?

yeppers. it's no where near as cool as being at a real factory like honda, suzuki, etc, but it deals with two wheels, so i'm happy :D
they're artists, but not the kind of art i'd buy were i that wealthy ;)
Cool!
Safety box for what? :)

i'm never specific enough... i've been thinking of a plexi-shield-box kinda thing to keep the cameras safe when i want to shoot something like a machining process, or whatever. point n shoot is usually ok, but very limited. the d40 is an expensive camera (to me) and don't wanna booger it up just yet :)
Ohhhhh... K Gotcha.
These things going to need some time w/ Mr. Lucas and his 12 insert face mill? :icon_mrgreen:

love me some face milling- it's like gravy cuts on the lathe, but you get to choose where the chips go ;)
