Title: $6 Yosh Exhaust
Post by: Bluesmudge on October 26, 2008, 08:51:42 PM
Not actually a Yosh, but now it sorta looks like one. I haven't found an exhaust that I wanted to drop a few hundred on yet so in the mean time I decided to cover up a nasty scratch/dent the PO left me with a nice heat resistant Yoshimura sticker. The sticker was $6 shipped off ebay.
What do you think?

I did a 90 mile ride today and I think I can tell the difference

I think I like how it looks.  not a bad mod at all for $6.  how many mph did you gain on the top speed? 20? 50?    just givin ya a hard time.  looks nice though.

If yer covering a scratch up, fair play and all a bit humourous....indeed, the 350000bhp increase and new top end of 387mph will be worth the $6.

If yer NOT covering up a scratch.....ahem, nuff said  :icon_mrgreen:

Beware some of those "heatproof" stickers from Ebay tho...I know a bloke who had one on an R1 and it left nothing but melted blue and yellow all over his can  :icon_mrgreen: (heatproof but NOT for an exhaust)  :thumb:

P.S. Looks cool tho!

Its been holding up just fine after a few days of riding. That first day with it was a really long ride too. Still looks as good as the moment I put it on.
It would be perfect on a real Yoshimura.

That looks totally sweet. How's the throttle response?

You could've at least put the sticker up by the exhaust end so that it might almost look credible. Lol.

I always take the stickers off of my exhausts as soon as I get them.

I should sell the stickers on eBay.   :flipoff:

I would if that's where the dent/rash was  ;)

Great, another @$$hole that puts on stickers for somebody else to take off.  Just buy an R1, squid.
