Me, Im dressing up as a satyr. Furry legs, horse tail, horns, fuzzy feet. maybe some hair on the torso to kinda blend it in. (any excuse to go shirtless really.) Then Im hitting a few clubs and gettign shaZam! faced. before hand ill prolly go trick or treatign with my niece and nephew. lol.
Sadly, I ll probably be sitting at home. Unless I can scrounge up some money and find a party. Maybe Ill dress up as something .
i thought about dressing up in my birthday suit, and finding a party. but the leos would be quick to stop that, and im too old to trick or treat anyhoo. but hell, im still tempted :icon_twisted:

Sounds like you (used to) resort to alcohol/related substance to offset or mask your misery. Try something outrageous/ less self-damaging. Go out and do something crazy that will turn heads, but won't send you to jail or betray any friendships..you might feel more accomplished.
I got skeletons in my closet too, but wallowing in self-pity is a huge waist of time. My next great escape is to go to the courthouse dressed up in a suit with a brief-case. I'm going to impersonate a lawyer.
i used to go to spencers at the mall, and buy "@$$hole " tickets and troll parking lots, and put them in certain cop cars. or jug wait till it snows, and find an empty parking lot. you and the ford can open the donut factory :icon_twisted:
I also have had problems, hell i turned to self harm and ended up in hospital, but you know what it didn't help at all other than for the split second you were doing it. Later in life it bothers me everyday, you have to cover up your arms and wherever else you cut, if you don't people ask awkward questions and to be honest other than getting your arm trapped in a blender no one believes you and you just have to avoid it. Whenever i have to go for a medical it makes you anxious and worried that the subject will come up. It seems hard when your deprssed but self medicating through whatever means, be it drinks, harming, drugs, whatever will plague you in later life and you cant do it. Self pity helps no one and nor does the attention it draws to you. Its a vicious cycle if your getting attention even for negative reasons its attention and you want it again, it encourages you. You can't fall into that trap. You have to buck yourself up and focus on things that make you happy and i promice it will pass. It might take along time but it does pass.
Work hard at your jobs, don't go to work hating them, think of them as this gets me out of the house, this gets me doing something, there are other people around. Word HARD!. Prospects arise from work if your work hard, even stuff you don't expect. Tell the girl the truth. You like her alot and want her to end it with the duck head shes with. If she says no, and continues to be abused by him then call it that, she is also playing you for her attention. If she knows you want her then she will come to you when she realises she's ready to finish with this bloke. The more you chase her the more she doesn't need to coem to you and the more hurt you get. Lastly EXERCISE, exercise hard, its one of the best ways to make you feel better. Run, Cycle, life Weights, tire yourself out, its distracting, it gets you fit and it releases chemicals which will make you feel better, especially if you set exercises goals and meet or exceed them.
Theres alot you can do but you have to help yourself you can't wallow in self pity.
I don't know people.I would exercise but by the time I do get home of a Night I'm just so dead that I can't stand to do Anything else.6:30 AM- 11PM of an Evening is just About all I can Stand.Job #1 I run my Ass of as an Electrician.I start at 7:30 AM and work til 2:30 on a Bad Day and to 4:00 or 6:00 depending on the Job I do.When I get done I go to Job #2 where I have worked for the Past 12 Years.I also work Job #2 and #3 on the weekends.#2 and #3 are right next door to each other and are Houses that I take care of.For the Past 12 Years Something Has Needed to be done every day 7 Days a Week for the past 12 Years at #2.#3 has just been a House watching Job with some Remodeling and Landscaping on the side.Both Houses are on the Lake and Have Docks and Boats to take care of.If something goes wrong it's a 300ft Hike to the Houses in a good day I'll have to make Make many trips to the top driveways to get tools.
I've been going thru Severe Burn out with #2 for the past few Years.As a 10 Year Present the Boss Bought me a 07 Ford F150.She thought that Since I worked for Her I could Afford the Gas,Upkeep and Insurance on a Brand New Vehicle.Well I can't.One week a While back I spent $300 in Gas in a Week.It wasn't Much Better the other 3 Weeks that Month.Lets say it Costed me $1000 total for Gas that Month.Full Coverage Insurance is running $75 a month.At the time that was the only Job I worked that Month and I got 120 Hours in.Thats only $1200 for that Month.My Credit card Bills are Close to $500 per month.OK what do I do with $1575 worth of Payments with $1200 and still be able to Eat that Month.I can't.Even though She has it in Her Mind that she done me a Favor and still thinks she has She has made my Life a Living Hell.I've not been Able to have a Social Life for 12 Years.I'm not Married,Don't Have a Woman,Don't Have time to Go See any Women,Don't Have Kids ETC. An $18000 Truck doesn't Replace that Part of my Life that I've lost out on.The Gal that I do know...... Well I would Marry Her in a Heartbeat.She wants to Marry Her Boyfriend and Have Kids.He doesn't want to get Married and Hates Kids.I want Kids So Damn Bad I can't stand it.I've told Her How I feel and Tell Her Again every once in a While.She tells me that I have a Place in Her Heart but not Where Her Boyfriend is.Not at least right now.We Had something going on back in the Spring.What it was just Confused the f%$k out of me. :icon_confused: :dunno_white:

i wound up having a great laugh at a couple of drag queens in my building and watching HBO's true blood all night. i searched online for dog soldiers, the video stores and the big box electronic outlets to no avail. even netflix could not help me cuz i was not in the lower 48

No I'd say that The Truck is Gone as soon as I quit.It was Bought in Hopes of being paid for Immediately after Her House was Sold.Over a Year and it's still on the Market for a Million over what it's worth.The Monthly Payment is still handed to me Every Month but the Loan is still in my name.All $33,000 by the time it's paid off.I was Happier in my old Dodge that was Falling Apart.
Actually Yama when I get Paid I get Paid well.Things are slow right now but I'm still staying busy.During the Summer when I can go from Daylight til Dark on all three Jobs I can Clear $3600+ a Month.In what I do I go from one job to Another #1 #2 #3 are my Main Income and I pick up other Jobs in my Spare time.I have other People wanting me to Quit What I am doing and come to work for them but I have never Quit a Job in my life until it was Finished and I just can't drop those.If all else Fails I probably have a Dozen different People and Companies I can go to work for.I'm working on my Electrical License and Home Inspection License right now.As soon as I get them I'm going for Plumbing and Contracting.I'm not wallowing in Self Pity I have things to look forward to but there's just Something a Whole lot more that I miss.
wow did this get off topic fast. just my 2 cents, many americans are living way beyond their means. their credit debt is as bad as the national debt, bloated and to the point it just can not be paid down quickly. live within your means, keep off the credit cards and work reasonable hours. you can't take it with you when you are dead...so why work yourself to an early grave?
