Post by: ohgood on October 30, 2008, 03:28:58 AM
Don't know if it has anything to do with current banking practices, small / medium sized business loans or whatever, but stuff is SLoooooow here.

I have at my disposale:
72" lathe, 20' bed
14' (that's a foot mark, ya) vertical lathe, 12' travel, twin beams
12' ditto
10' ditto
assorted smaller lathes, 5'-24' beds
3-4 bridgeports, they're all crap
3-4 heavy knee mills, they're all dead nuts/heavy/good
3' blanchard grinder (pos)
10' planer (larger mill)
more 4130 than you can shake a purple stick at

and what did i do yesterday ? yep, i made a 2-3 taper sleeve. alllllllll day. lame.

what did you do ? POST A PIC SO WE CAN ALL BE AMAZED AT EACH OTHERS LACK OF REAL WORK !

Well I am still out of work due to my wreck but work it so slow there they went from working 5 nights down to 2 nights per week.
We have 40 auto techs and all get paid commission so if there's no work there's no pay

Ehh i have a pic somewhere of me doing crap at work, but its IT work so nothing interesting and a lot of slacking

edit: found it, however i have a pimp 22" wide screen, new laptop and a million, 11 to be exact, computers in my cube currently so imagine computers instead of the oh my goodnessty labels.  Labeling is not the job of an IT guy in my opinion ...
