Title: Bleeder banjo bolts are cool...so I'm selling them
Post by: makenzie71 on November 01, 2008, 01:12:30 PM
I couldn't find any locally and they're $20~25 online.  So I made my own.  Figure I'll offer it up for the good folks at gstwins.

$15 shipped per banjo bolt.

$5 core refund if you supply the banjo bolt but not all banjo bolts will be compatible with your application...I actually had to make my own for my GS750.

$2.50 core refund if you supply the bleeder.

(means if you you've got a banjo bolt on hand that fits and a bleeder from an old junked caliper or something you could get a bleeder banjo bolt for $7.50 shipped)

Just thought I'd offer.

I'll get one up tomorrow afternoon.  I just slap a bolt in the lathe and cut it similar to a banjo bolt but I bore the center all the way through.  I then bore the top out a bit further and put a 15* seat in it.  Thread the bore and slap a bleed screw in there.  It's easy to figure out if you look into how a bleed screw works.
