Title: Looking to get Exhaust
Post by: vorBH on November 09, 2008, 01:22:29 PM
Currently with stock exhaust (07 Suzuki GS500F). I have no clue what needs to be done to upgrade your exhaust.
First, which exhaust can I get that doesn't cost too much and where from? ANy other engine mods need to be done and why?

I think the Yoshi TRS slip-on sounds the best....where can I get it for cheap? Anyone selling one?

I can get a $180 Yoshi Rs-3...but where can I get the midpipe?

usually a muffler shop can fit the can onto the existing pipe for a few bucks.  My local Midas said they would do it for $40.

So I can go ahead and buy the RS-3 can knowing that the shop can fit it on? Its a 3 bolt pattern, they just need to cust the end of the pipe and weld on a piece that accepts the 3-bolt pattern?

Is the RS-3 slip on? Or do I need to rejet? Im sure its slip on

if it has 3 bolts than you will need to make flange to weld the pipe to and its a bolt on. any modification you make to the intake or exhaust you should rejet.
