hoping to buy a new motorcycle sometime next year  but deciding between the gs500f or the new honda cbf500. :? what do you reckon? ...was told by a honda dealer that the honda cbf500 is liquid cooled,...not aired....would this make a difference in the overall performance as i have'nt really a clue much regarding bikes.... :o appreciated lots,.... ;) [/b]
well its really up to you... the cbf500 is liquid cooled... witch will prob give it a good deal more performance than the gs... with the look from the 919... but the suzuki will have a nice fairing but almost no top end power compared to a liquid cooled competitor... so its really up to you ... :)
Liquid cooling allows for closer tolerances in the engine due to cooler operating temps causing less swelling of internal parts. This generally means longer lasting engines.
But also means you have a whole extra set of components to worry about. radiator, waterpump, thermostat, seals....
