2000 Suzuki GS500E
11,000 miles and continues to grow slowly as I still ride it sometimes(rarely).
Upgrades:
Upgraded all dash lights to LEDs.
SV650 headlight. looks better cosmetically and is clearer and much
brighter than stock.
SV650 Convex mirrors. Looks better cosmetically as well as is much better
to see behind you and near you.
Wheel lip stripes- looks good as well as a safety item. Reflects red to
make bike more noticeable.
Vance and Hines exhaust- more sporty as well as louder. Keeps you
noticeable on the road.
Buell turn signals for smaller but brighter turns. Makes the bike look so
much better!
LED converted tail light.- Custom by me. just the running lights alone are
brighter than any bike I have EVER seen. A much better upgrade than
anything else you can find.
I have all paperwork on the bike as well as any maintenance. I cleaned my
own chain as well as changed the oil on it. I also have paperwork from
previous owner who did anything to the bike. I also had everything
cleaned and everything was looked over and in good condition.
The tires are much nicer than stock. They are more aggressive tires and
have plenty of tread on them(look brand new).
I have been getting around 68-72 MPG on it lately.. Its a really nice
bike! I know I will miss it. I also have the Haynes manual for it as well
as extra parts I picked up from other people. Bike starts right up and sounds nice!
The bike is about 19000 miles short of what it should have according to KBB.
