anybody have to fix a twisted subframe. what worked for you?
What needs to be done depends on where it is bent and how bad.
I have cut, straightened, then welded as well as using a come-along winch to fit bent sub frames.
yes, it depends on exactly how badly bent, and where its bent as to how to fix. I just scrapped an 89 subframe for a GS yesterday, probably something you could have made good use of.

from the pics your subframe itself is absolutely fine, but the tail light and tag mount are tweaked. those are EASY fixes.

what kind of things would you try to fix it?
to me, it looks like you just need to refasten all that fender stuff and it'll look just fine again. or do a fenderectomy and relocate your tag bracket a bit higher.
how did this get damaged in the first place? that would be helpful to determining an appropriate and correct fix. I could really work with some better pics to give a more appropriate answer to how to fix this.
That grab bar frame brace does look bent bobthebiker ...
Cool.
Buddha.
I was looking at the whole thing from the wrong way, and thinking the tail light thing was what wasnt straight there, I think I understand now. probably a lot of work to fix.
