Wow, a lot went down in the world of college football today, but the most important thing to me is that my Oregon State Beavers kept their Rose Bowl hopes alive by squeaking out a win vs. Arizona and all we need to do is beat the Oregon Ducks at home next week in the Civil War and we are headed to Pasadena baby!
On an alternate and equally great note, University of Washington managed to lose to a truly terrible Washington State team to keep the dream alive of going defeated. Only a loss to California stands between them and a perfect 0-12 season. I can't tell you how happy it will make me to see the Huskies run the table...in reverse. Huck the Fuskies!
Most important thing to me was UC beating Pitt and being one game away from a BCS game. Rushing the field was fun too. :)

I was at that game, and my throat is still sore from screaming so much. If we had played some offense after you guys missed the PAT, the final score would have been different. Honestly, we weren't trying to win in the last 4 minutes---we were just trying not to lose.
Sorry about that. When Kahut shanked the PAT I nearly threw my beverage through my plasma screen screaming in my living room. Fortunately the Beavers did what they have done time and again this year and fought, clawed and scratched thier way to a victory. The losses to Utah and Stanford were both in the last couple seconds, against Stanford the reciever fumbled into the endzone for a touchback in the first game of the year, and against Utah, the beavers gave up 10 points in the last 1:30 or so to lose playing that prevent garbage Arizona broke out. Just promise me you will root for the Beavers this weekend because I know you guys hate Oregon way more than you hate us!
