I'd really like to see one of those bikes cuz as far as I know, that would leave NOTHING FOR THE SEAT TO SIT ON!

Yeah, part of the point of the subframe is to hold the seat and fender and all that... I guess you could just take your seat off and upholster your subframe. That would be almost what you want...

No, no, he's talking about a minimal ("solo") seat.  Like this, without the springs:

Mounted on a very small subframe.  I'll try to get a better picture of it, I saw one somewhere.  I was thinking about maybe doing the same myself.  Liked cafe-racer-ish meets street-fighter.

Yep.  You need some kind of subframe.  'Tain't nothin' to hold you up, otherwise.

Those bikes with the teeny subframes and bitty seats look to me like a wet dog with a docked tail, but that's just me.

DO a search for the firbolt modification... Either that or fabricate a minimalist sub-frame strong enough to bear your weight + road stress...

If you make the sub frame part of the actual lines of the bike (firebolt mod) it looks pretty cool.

It's either that or make a solid piece of tubing attach somewhere to the frame behind the battery box and mount whatever you want to it...

You could also fabricate a seat/rear cowling setup and then just pad and upholster that section you sit on.. draw some shaZam! up, see how you'd like it...

just don't go cutting anything yet.
