We're being smartasses.

The GS500 needs suspension and brakes more desperately than it needs power.  (And IMO, turbos are too peaky and annoying-to-tune to make it worth the effort.)

Just do a search, it has been mentioned. Everyone else is right though, until you've upgraded your suspension and brakes, its not worth the effort.

Search a bit, and bother to read a bit. It's been done, and it's a pointless exercise on many levels. You can read all about it.

To put it gently, you could buy my turbo shaft-drive yamaha, swap the engine in, and have less trouble adapting the shaft drive over to chain drive than you'll have "turboing" a gs500.

Bring a truck and cash and it's yours. Be less trouble to make it all happy and spiffy in it's own frame, too, but you want whatever you want, eh?
