Title: Requesting help again--this time...
Post by: ralph13 on December 05, 2008, 02:26:49 PM
...I stall whenever the revs go below 4-5K!  :o

It started maybe 45 minutes ago. I thought the temperature may have something to do with it, but it's not even that cold (well above freezing at least).

What could be the cause of this great woe? I may have to bring out the Raleigh tomorrow morning for work.

You say requesting help again - Did you have stalling problems previously or were the problems unrelated? The only problems I saw in your posts seemed to be battery related.

What is the year/mileage? Have the carbs ever been cleaned?

The last time I had to ask for help was when I had trouble starting the bike below 30F or so. Lately I've been able to get it running even in the  20's by giving it a rolling start downhill. It's a 95, with 24K or thereabouts on it; the carbs were cleaned around May of '07.
