Title: GS holds its value
Post by: Ry_Guy on December 07, 2008, 11:40:49 PM
I bought my GS 6 years ago. Back then the Kelley Blue Book value was at $1635. Just out of curiosity I looked at it again....now it's at $1675.

I bought my 93 GS back in 2002 and sold it in 2006 after putting 12k on it. I got it and sold it for $1500. That is retained value.

Thanks to the gas prices shooting up and the fact that the USD is rapidly approaching the value of used toilet paper thanks to the bailouts.
Cool.

You're a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.   :D  I'm still waiting to hear back from m'boy on your bits, BTW. I'll nudge him again today.

Buying a starter bike used for a small amount is never a bad investment.  You may not get all of your money back, but you can't lose much, and it's a good way to get your n00b miles in.
