check this out, right now there's a 2006 katana 600 with 7k miles, a little rash, other than that it looks awesome, for only $1,500 on ebay. I wonder how fast the price will sky rocket. only 1 hour and 40 minutes left. It's in the southern-middle of missouri.

it's only at $1,937 right now with 20 minutes left. crazy deal.
it sold for $1,937 that's crazy
Pretty darn good deal.
But there is something about ebay, and buying something like a motorcycle that I don't like about it. You can't really get very personal and go see it or test ride it before you buy. Little hidden stuff will then really pop out. Like the tires on that thing, despite it's low price, were completely bald. How dos that make sense for a bike with that many miles. Just stuff like that. Not to say you don;t get that everywhere- craigslist ,sneaky dealers, etc. My roomate bought a used camaro from ebay. Had a million pics, guy said it ran good, no accidents, whatever,... Went to drive to pick it up 3 hours away, and low and behold, It blew up and died a half mile down the road from the place driving it back. He got his money back since he was barely out of the driveway, but, sometimes you don't. He and I still buy stuff on eBay, just not really expensive and finicky things like vehicles. My $.02.
Preach it! Lawd, lawd! Have mercy!
For some odd reason when I read the title of your thread I thought it said "Crazy katana 600 wheel." So I'm looking at your post and seeing that price and thinking, WTF. I didn't realize it was a bike til I looked at the auction....
BTW, nice bologna skin out back!
The thing about ebay is, that you CAN investigate what you're buying before you lose cash because they have a clause where if whatever you're buying is different in any from the listing, you can get all your money back. I bought my bike off of ebay, and it was a good experience, crazy deal too.
What's weird about the katana was that they said it was a 2007, wasn't the last year of production 2006?
