Title: ForSale: 2001 SV650 Rear shock all set to install!
Post by: Danny500 on December 10, 2008, 11:15:44 PM
I ran this on my bike for maybe 3000 miles. Just got a katana shock with rear dampening so looking to sell.

45 bucks shipped to anywhere. First one takes it.

It was a love/hate thing. I loved the stiffness, hated the height it gave me in the rear. With lowering links the rear geometry went a little wacky and the SV acted like my stock shock rather than what it was. So, time for it to go. Doing a Katana swap.

If anyone wants to fool around with the SV shock they're welcome to it. Hell, I'll take 25 bucks at this point.

I just recommend this shock for a rider with 32" inseam or taller, running at least .75 Sonic Springs or Progressive in the front to balance it out.
