Title: still not runnin right
Post by: natewesselink on December 11, 2008, 09:01:46 PM
well its been a while since ive been on here and since then i have had my bike in the shop for about 2 weeks.  just got i t back today and its still not runnin just right.
the shop i took itto did everything that i had asken them to do but i rode it home tonight in a bonechilling 25degrees farenhight.  what its doing now is i will take off ad it will chugg along for a bit and then it will take off.  im wondering weither its just the cold thats causeing it or if its a problem with the fuel air mix or something else intirely.
fyi they had replaced the intake boots cleaned the fuel system and replaced the lines and filter and changed the pilot jets and cleaned the air filter.

What jets are you running with the lunchbox? Sounds like it might be too lean. Those Lunchbox's like alot of fuel to keep up with the air it's pulling in. I recently took mine off too and put back the stock air box with a a drop in k&n filter.

Did they mess with your float bowl adjustment screws?

no i took it to the best shop in town and i know one of the mechanics that works there and he even said that the guy that worked on my bike was the best guy in the shop.  and to answer your question i have a dynojet stage 1 kit in it and it was put together for a bike with a exaust and intake modification.  i had had the kit put in before it got damaged this time around and it ran great and i dont now if they messed with my floats and all of the modifications that have been done to it where before rejetting
