I was just messing around on Google a little bit ago and found my old bike for sale at a local dealer. It was pretty wierd seeing it in someone else's hands. It was a great bike and treated me well while I had it. The pics brought back memories of the rejet and other mods. It sounds stupid but modifying cars and bikes makes me feel more attached to them. Blood, sweat and tears make all the difference! They only want $3,300 for it and I was shocked...it has 2,700 miles, a Yoshi exhaust, K&N lunchbox, and rejet. I guess it is "priced to sell." Being that it will be an average of 30 degrees for the next few months probably has an effect on the low price.

I made the switch over to fuel injected with a black 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 650R and cold starts are muuuuuch easier! I only racked up 100 miles before it got too cold and snowy. I love not having to mess with tempermental carbs and choke anymore. It is already torn apart in the garage...the dorky fender is long gone. The red wheels are being powder coated gloss black and the rear spring will be silver to match the frame. I'm trying to mimic the colors of the 2009. I got the 2008 for a steal at $4,000 and the 2009 would have been about $8,000 after all the taxes and fees...screw that.Talk about power! I was not used to cranking on the throttle and easily lifting the front end...it put a big smile on my face though! It's way too quiet so I ordered an arrow exhaust and Power commander III ecu...merry christmas to me! :D

It's supposed to warm up a little soon, I think. Maybe I'll take a ride down there, it's not that often I get to see another gs.

No, I switched to a fuel injected Ninja...I didn't modify the GS to actually be fuel injected. (see pics above)

bucks1605, you should deffinitely go check it out! It runs very well with the mods and was well maintained. Only 2791 miles too...(when I left it there)
